Coach Atwood to be inducted into W-S/FC Sports Hall of Fame!
Head Coach Maurice Atwood will be inducted into the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Sports Hall of Fame May 4th!
Congrats Coach Atwood!
Phazon Roddy National Champion!
Phazon Roddy won 10-3 in the NHSCA Senior Nationals Finals to become only the fifth North Carolina wrestler to be crowned Senior National Champion. Phazon making it to finals also meant Parkland was the first North Carolina program to have a finalist in back-to-back years as well as only the second program to have two finalists all-time.
Drew Turner All-American!
Drew Turner has locked up All-American honors at NHSCA Sophomore Nationals in Virginia Beach. Drew won his first four matches before losing in the Championship Semifinals & Consolation Semifinals. Drew bounced back with a convincing victory to take 5th place!

Retrorankings.com named their yearend award winners today, listed below are the Mustangs who won an award:
Assistant Coach of the Year- Mike Turner
Most Physical- Phazon Roddy
Toughest From Bottom- Drew Turner
Best Athlete- Chris Walker

The site, to include all bios, All-Time records, and such, have been updated.
The roster reflects only the wrestlers who will be a part of the Mustangs 2012-13 season.
