MLK Weekend Results
Several Parkland wrestlers competed in the 9th/10th Grade State Championships. Here are those results.

120- Jordan Gabriel- 3rd Place

138- Laiiq "Chucky" Hedrick- 1st Place

Also, earlier in the weekend on Saturday, Parkland went 5-0 at the North Forsyth Duals to push their record to 31-0 on the year and the dual win-streak to 247. Here are those results:

With exams this week, Parkland won't be in action again until Saturday when they travel to the North Gaston Duals.

Parkland Routs Bison, Sweep Jordan Duals
Parkland traveled to High Point Central last night for a conference match and were victorious by a score of 76-4. The victory puts Parkland one victory closer to clinching a tenth straight State Dual playoff berth. It also pushes the dual win-streak to 242.
This past Saturday, Parkland went 5-0 at the Jordan Dual Tournament.
Parkland will next be in action on Saturday at the North Forsyth Duals.

Sorry about the delay between updates but with the holidays things were hectic. Anyway, to bring you up to date...
Parkland 55, West Forsyth 12
Parkland 51, East Forsyth 20
Those two dual victories push Parkland to 20-0 on the year and extend the dual win-streak to 236. Also, the victory over East Forsyth pushes Parkland to 3-0 in conference action and slightly closer to another State Dual Playoff Berth.
Over the holidays, Parkland also won the Sonny Inskip Invitational where Norbet Webb recorded his 100th career victory. Also, Ivan Gonzalez & Eric Martinez won their first career varsity tournaments!
Parkland will next be in action this Saturday at the Jordan Duals.

Parkland beat Mooresville 56-13 & TC Roberson 45-15 last night to push the dual win-streak to 234.

In a total reversal of last year, Parkland led after day one at WRAL and Jefferson mounted a strong charge on day two to come back and claim the team crown. The Mustangs had 9 placers and actually scored more points than they did last year (even with Asst. Coach Kendall Nelson losing a team point) but came up short. Listed below are individual results...

Parkland Tames Bobcats, Move to 2-0 In Conference
Parkland beat long-time conference rival Glenn 59-9 to move to 2-0 in conference and extend the dual win-streak to 232.

Mustangs Tame Tigers
Parkland traveled to Ragsdale last night to take on long time rival Ragsdale in the first conference match of the year and won 72-3. The win pushes the dual win-streak to 226.
Parkland will next be in action this Saturday at home in the Parkland Duals.
Website Up To Date
The entire website, except for individual, has been updated to reflect the start of the new season. I'm working on a new banner that will include the 2011 State Championships. Hopefully it'll be up soon.
The team is currently 9-0 and has extended the dual win-streak to 225, which is the second longest documented streak in national history!
The team will next be in action on December 8th when they wrestle their first conference match against Ragsdale.
Also, I'd like to congratulate Chris Walker on his 6 second pin against Fred T. Foard that is the fastest in school history!
